Breaking into the Hip-Hop scene, XceL Vintage brings an eclectic soulful sound to the genre. Recording in studios since the age of 11, XceL Vintage has displays flashy wordplay and poise on the microphone. His composed demeanor and awareness of social topics directly translates into his music.
In 2017, the Denver, Colorado native released his debut album “Vintage” after a life-altering stroke that caused him to lose the ability to speak, read, and write. The experience served as motivation to share his story and his music upon his eventual recovery. He exhibited versatility on the album with the single “For You” which delivered a bouncy yet crafty element, alongside tracks like “Don’t Shoot” and “Just a(Phase)ia” which get into more personal aspects of his life.
XceL Vintage is dropping his second album A Day Later in 2020.
